Shakespeare as a modern day writer
Hello!! Welcome back to another blog. I have often talked about how Shakespeare influenced countless modern day writers. His work consisted of themes and characters that are still universally relatable. We as a society might have progressed tremendously in the last 400 years in technology but the from the point of view of thinking we have not progressed a lot. Racism, sexism, classism amongst many others still exist in our society and most of this was covered in Shakespeare's plays. So, what would happen if he was a modern day writer, what would have happened if he existed in the 21st century? If his themes are so relatable, would his writing have changed at all? I will explore these questions in this blog. From the hundreds of pieces of work that Shakespeare has written, one can say that he was an outstanding dramatist.
